This Privacy Policy explains how PersoScan handles information in connection with your use of the Service, including the direct widget product and the Shopify app integration.

2. What We Do Not Collect

2.1 No End-User Behavioral Tracking

PersoScan does not use the storefront widget or Shopify storefront integration for analytics profiling, advertising tracking, or behavioral monitoring of end-users. We do not place analytics cookies through the widget for those purposes.

2.2 No Shopify Form or Pain Submission Collection

The Shopify integration is limited to storefront navigation behavior. The form and pain-submission workflow are disabled in the Shopify app, so PersoScan does not collect pain form submissions from Shopify storefront visitors.

3. What We Do Collect

3.1 Direct Widget and Website Integrations

• Domain origin and associated license key may be transmitted from your application to our backend during license validation or service activation where applicable.
• Billing and account records may be processed in connection with direct purchases or subscription management.

3.2 Shopify App Operations

• Merchant store identifiers such as shop domain may be processed to operate the app.
• Shopify session or access data may be stored to maintain app installation state and secure API access.
• Billing status, plan status, and related installation state may be processed to manage Shopify app functionality.
• Navigation configuration and storefront mapping settings may be stored so merchants can manage where body area selections send shoppers.

3.3 Technical and Operational Logs

• We may retain technical logs related to license validation, app proxy requests, billing events, webhook handling, installation state, and operational troubleshooting.
• No end-user behavioral analytics stream is created from widget interactions.

4. Third-Party Platforms and Processors

• Direct website purchases may use Stripe or another payment processor shown at checkout.
• Shopify app billing and store-platform data flows may involve Shopify and are also subject to Shopify's own policies and platform rules.
• The PersoScan website may use Google Analytics after you accept analytics cookies in the cookie notice. The storefront widget does not use Google Analytics or set analytics cookies.

5. Data Retention

• Server logs: retained for 30 days, then deleted.
• License, billing, merchant configuration, and operational records: retained as necessary for subscription management, app operation, legal compliance, and support.

6. Cookie and Browser Storage

• The widget itself does not set cookies for tracking or analytics.
• Standard browser behavior (e.g., iframe loading) does not result in PersoScan placing tracking mechanisms.
• The PersoScan website stores a consent cookie named persoscan_analytics_consent to remember whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies.
• If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics may set analytics cookies for website usage measurement.

7. Privacy Requests and Compliance

The Service is not directed to children under 16. No data is knowingly collected from minors.
